Mercedes is a highly skilled percussionist and Marching educator with a Master of Arts in Performing Arts from WAAPA. With extensive experience in teaching, ensemble leadership, and performance coaching, they specialize in creating custom educational materials and tailoring lessons to diverse learning styles.​They have performed at major events such as the AFL Grand Final, FIM World Supercross Championship, and with the Perth Wildcats. As Operations Director of Marimbafest Australia and a Marching Band Director with over 10 years’ experience, Mercedes is an experienced event manager and music educator.
